Pawnee City is proud to say the Larry the Cable Guy, a.k.a. Danny Whitney, grew up in Pawnee City. His family lived on a farm in northeast Pawnee City. The Lincoln Journal Star newspaper recently wrote an article about the barn on the Whitney farm being moved to the Pawnee City Historical Society site.
